"The Church Shooting"

A 23-yr. old white male decided to grab a semi-automatic rifle and fire through stained glass church windows to kill worshippers as they sat in the pews, killing an eight year old, a ten year old and wounding 14 more kids and three adults.

Now we can count on Jesus and prayer to protect his flock, or focus on "church safety" and start selling bulletproof stained glass windows and convert church confessionals into safe rooms and pews into "stay alive" containers. (industrial-strength sarcasm)

Now we can increase mental health funding and improve red flag laws, safe storage laws, age limits. (industrial-strength sarcasm)

Of course it's just a coincidence that most white males oppose banning semi-automatic hand guns and rifles and most shooters are white males armed with semi-automatic hand guns and rifles.

One amazing gun fact is that most white males whose family member was injured or killed in a mass shooting OPPOSE banning semi-automatic hand guns.

Another amazing gun fact is that getting shot to death by an angry white male armed with a semi-automatic hand gun or rifle is the leading cause of death for boys and girls under the age of 21.

Another amazing gun fact is that FBI gun murder statistics indicate that the great majority of gun murders nationwide are done with a semi-automatic hand gun.

Semi-automatic rifles are only about 3% of all gun murders, including school shootings.

Another amazing gun fact is no one - and I do mean no one - can predict who will decide to grab a gun and shoot people to death. Period.

No one will ever be able to predict WHO will decide to grab a gun and shoot people to death; as evidenced by the fact that 80% of mass shooters lawfully purchased their guns and had no previous law enforcement or mental health records.

The problem is not trying to determine WHO will shoot; or WHY they shoot.

The problem is the fact that THEY CAN GRAB A GUN AND SHOOT; whether it's their own gun, their daddy's gun, or whomever's gun the shooter grabs.

The actual problem is widespread gun availability, thanks to U.S. gunmakers flooding American streets with over four million guns annually.

No amount or kind of red flag laws, safe storage laws, age limit laws will ever PREVENT AND STOP gun crime and mass shootings.

ONLY A FULL BAN on all semi-automatic hand guns and semi-automatic rifles can stop gun crime and mass shootings.

Other countries have banned guns, executed successful gun buyback programs and now enjoy an actual gun crime-free workplace, schools, and society without fear of being shot to death with semi-automatic weapons like here in America.

MSNBC dingbat Katy Tur said we should stop talking about it so much or face the chance of copycat crimes. Then Katy Tur launched into how we need to increase mental health funding and report our miserable neighbors - if you see something, say something.

This is the fucking insanity of Americans in the year 2025.

Shooters believe you must hurt because I am hurting.

Shooters believe you must die because I must die.

Shooters aren't shooters without guns.

Shooters are just angry dudes without guns until they grab a gun.

Suddenly the white male shooter is a tough guy with a badass gun killing people at will.

Suddenly you're dead, they're dead and it always happens again and again and again and again.

This is not a mental health problem.

This is not a gun safety problem.

This is not a gun training problem.

This is not a red flag, safe storage or age limit law problem.

This is a GUN AVAILABILITY PROBLEM.

This is a weapons proliferation problem.

This is a GUNS FOR-PROFIT PROBLEM.

This is a U.S. gun manufacturer problem of gunmakers producing, marketing and selling over four million guns annually.

This is a U.S. lawmaker taking NRA bribes and orders problem.

This is ultimately another BIG DONORS AND BIG MONEY IN FEDERAL ELECTIONS PROBLEM.

Neither Democrats nor Republicans will vote their Big Donors out of their Big Bank accounts

Neither Democrats nor Republicans will ever vote BIG MONEY out of politics.

It's going to take young voters and a new progressive political party to make the kind of change young voters want.

It's going to take young voters and a new progressive political party to:

*kick Big Donors out of politics and federal elections;

*end nationwide gun crime, mass murder and school shootings in America;

*make America safe from semi-automatic hand guns and rifles;

*restore constitutional and civil liberties, including a woman's right to make her own medical decisions.

The Real Mental Heath Problem

The real mental health problem is human greed found in the elected officials who take legal and/or illegal bribes from Big Donors.

Capitol Hill is a two-party system of organized greed and crime beyond repair.

It's going to take a new party dedicated to serving the will of the people than dedicated to satisfying personal greed.

Westman was armed with a shotgun, a semi-automatic hand gun and a semi-automatic rifle.

Westman used the semi-automatic rifle to fire through church windows to kill and wound churchgoers.

There were (2) two mass shootings in Minneapolis on Aug. 27, 2025, but the national media did not report the other mass shooting, death and injuries and the shooter who remains at large; nor did the national media report the third shooting in Minneapolis that same day. All shooters used semi-automatic weapons.
