Peter Navarro's interview with Michael Smerconish reveals Navarro's highly delusional world view and exceedingly delusional view of tariffs.
Michael Smerconish did little to no research on Navarro, because had Smerconish looked, he would have found out that Navarro lied to President Trump about Navarro's alleged mentor, Ron Vana, WHO DOES NOT EXIST - NAVARRO INVENTED RON VANA.
I'm telling you this guy is a certified nutjob.
Navarro is very angry at We The People because We The People convicted Navarrro of failing to appear before Congress and testify under oath.
Navarro was convicted and seted to months in prison and bitched, pissed and moaned, vowing retribution every day of his incarceration.
Retribution against who? We The People for sitting in his jury trial, hearing the evidence against Navarro and convicting Navarro.
Now that Navarro did his time and was released to the streets, Navarro wants his pound of flesh from We The People for convicting him and sending him to prison, and by God Navarro's going to get his pound of flesh. Sick sonofabitch. Psycho.
When Smerconish directly asked Navarro, How do you feel about cutting people's retirement by 10%? Navarro ignored the question and blathered on, telling retirees to, "be patient."

He’s either an idiot, or a liar, or most likely, both. It is perfectly obvious to any rational economist that, at the end of the day, American consumers are going to get stuck with the bill for Trump’s tariffs (probably in excess of $1000 per car), in addition to which American car manufacturers are going to suffer much lower profits (I don’t suppose he noticed that most of those plants in Mexico are owned by General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler, and the stock market is way down on the mention of the tariffs).
Fox News host Shannon Bream challenged White House trade adviser Peter Navarro after he claimed that President Donald Trump’s tariffs were “tax cuts.”
In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Bream pointed out that Trump had said he “couldn’t care less” if car prices went up because of the tariffs.
Navarro responded, “The U.S. Consumer message is that tariffs are tax cuts. Tariffs are jobs. Tariffs are national security. Tariffs are great for America. Tariffs will make America great again.”
Bream pressed him, asking, “I want to clarify, when you say a tax cut, how exactly is that going to work?”
Navarro explained, “First of all, we’re going to raise about a hundred billion dollars with the auto tariffs alone. What we’re going to do is, in the new tax bill that has to pass, we’re going to provide tax benefits and tax credits to people who buy American cars.”
He added, “This is a genius thing that President Trump promised on the campaign trail.
Also, the other tariffs are going to raise about six hundred billion dollars a year, about six trillion over ten years, and we’re going to have tax cuts.”
Bream pushed back, pointing out that even Trump has said his tariffs would “raise prices and cause disruptions.”
“Trust in Trump,” Navarro replied.
